This architectural facade lighting case study covers the Shouguang Five-Star Building, a new CBD landmark developed by Shouguang Urban Investment Group in Weifang, Shandong—the “Vegetable Capital” of China. Located near Shengcheng East Street and Haoyuan Road, the 25-floor Grade A office tower (70,700 m²) anchors the city’s “industry–city integration” strategy, bridging agriculture tech and modern services.

Objectives and Constraints

The client set a tight budget but required the night view to match the approved renderings and remain stable over long-term operation. The facade needed clean, linear media effects to express a contemporary identity without complex maintenance.

Solution and Products

After several rounds of technical–commercial alignment, we specified a cost-effective, reliable 3 cm 3535 LED pixel point source with breakpoint-resume signal continuity. We configured one-meter strings with six nodes per run, fixed with aluminum profiles for precise spacing, clean lines, and fast installation. Breakpoint-resume ensures signal keeps flowing even if a node fails, improving uptime and reducing service visits—critical for a civic landmark.
